Criminal is a creator-owned crime comic book by writer Ed Brubaker and artist Sean Phillips whose main characters are all criminals. It is published by Marvel Comics' Icon label, and premiered in 2006. It marked the return of Brubaker to his roots, having originally been known for crime writing.

Brubaker has described the series as having been influenced by such genre comics as Fell and Sin City, and television series such as The Sopranos, Thief, and The Shield [1]
