Sofya Skya (born Sofya Arzhakovskaya in 1987) is a Russian ballerina and actress/directress.
She attended Vaganova Ballet Academy and moved to Hollywood, California in 2007 to pursue a career in acting.
In 2006, at the age of eighteen, Skya ranked in the top five and won the Mrs. World pageant, making her the first Russian to win this competition. The event took place in St. Petersburg, Russia and ended with a scandal - first Mrs. Costa Rica, Andrea Bermudez Romero, had been erroneously crowned, but later the crown was taken away from her and given instead to Sofya Skya.[1]
Personal life
In 2006, she married Russian industrialist Sergey Veremeenko.
