The local language spoken by the people is Bajjika.

Festivals

Holi, Durga Puja, Deepawali and Chhath Puja are the prime festivals. People also celebrate Rakshabandhan, Janmashtmi, Shivratri, Makar Sankranti, Saraswati Puja, Replicday, Independence Day and other local festivals.

Reference Deasri Village is about 40 km away from Patna and 21 Km away from Hajipur.Desari having his own history. Once a English man was just distributing saree there to poor people then all women were asking like de Saree(Desari). So that place named as Desari :)
