The Minuteman Civil Defense Corps, often confused with The Minuteman Project, Inc. is a group headed by Chris Simcox dedicated to preventing illegal crossings of the U.S. border. Believing that the government is not suffiently concerned with securing the U.S. border, they have elected to take the job upon themselves.[1] Several state chapters have been organized, with the intention to provide law enforcement agencies with evidence of immigration law violations[2].
