Four Brothers is a 2005 film starring Tyrese Gibson, Andre Benjamin, Mark Wahlberg, and Garrett Hedlund. The movie was directed by John Singleton. The film is a loose remake of The Sons of Katie Elder.
Plot Summary
The seemingly-random murder of their adoptive mother in a convenience store sends four brothers to Detroit on the path of vengeance when they uncover a tangled criminal web involving a local kingpin...
The brothers were living in different cities with an exception of Jeremiah (Andre Benjamin aka Andre 3000) only living in Detroit. At first, they thought it was a usual robbery shootout but later on discovered that the shooters has been paid to shoot their mother. Later down the story, Angel (Tyrese Gibson) found out that Jeremiah got involved with the local gang and owes a lot of money. After some investigation, the brothers found out the two killers and after a dangerous car chase in the snow, Bobby and Angel killed them thinking that the revenege was done. However, Victor (the gang boss) sent several men to get rid of the brothers. A gun fight broke out in at their mother's house and Jack (the younger brother) is fatally shot during the conflict. After this, they try to offer Victor Sweet $400,000 in exchange for their freedom but they already had a deal going with Victor's thugs that the money will be divided among them if they betray Victor. Victor died in the end after he was knocked out by Bobby and his thugs threw him into the frozen ice lake to drown.
