Mark Breeze (real name Mark Brady, born 1970), also known as DJ Breeze, is a UK Hardcore producer based in the United Kingdom. Mark Breeze (real name Mark Brady, born 1970), also known as DJ Breeze, is a UK Hardcore producer based in the United Kingdom.

Mark first got into the dance scene at the age of 15. His first residency was at the much acclaimed Langtry’s club in Beckenham, Kent.

Breeze was originally a raver through out 1987- 1993 and was a house DJ before he met Dougal who after many nights out at the club Mark played at, asked him to return to his roots and try his hand at DJing Happy Hardcore. He also spent a couple of years sharing a house with Dougal and looking after his DJ bookings, whilst working in the studio with the talented DNA.

He also Owned the Essential Vinyl record shop in Northampton, along side he’s friend Mark Lambert, who who also helped to start HTID, along with Darren Styles & Hixxy.

During this time the electronic dance scene literally exploded and Breeze continued to enjoy DJing and paving the way with the latest, most energetic and ground breaking styles to become a crowd puller in his own right. During his time as a house DJ, Mark made his name with local promoters, such as Taste, Fruit and Sweat to name just a few. This exposure and ever increasing popularity made Mark hot property throughout the dance scene, enabling him to develop permanent contracts with leading big fish promoters such as GodsKitchen after moving to Northampton in 1994.

As the rave scene in England started to boom, Breeze teamed up with a long term producer and friend, Mickey Skeedale. Keen to continue making dance music but this time in a hardcore style, Breeze and Mickey produced the unforgettable and now classic track Your love hits me like thunder / Miles ahead, which enjoyed success with the award winning Essential Platinum label, pioneered by DJs Dougal and Hixxy.

Having relied on instincts built from the wealth of first-hand experience gained from the roots of modern dance music, this first release unsurprisingly made a massive impact and finding himself in high demand. An opportunity to produce full time with fellow big name artist Dougal was welcomed with both hands. Demand for his new tracks grew greater by the day and the need for greater production freedom was to be resolved by Breeze forming Infinity Recordings, another of the leading Hardcore Labels. It kept him as busy as ever and boasts at least 25 releases, including tracks such as Jump a Little Higher, Run to me and I Feel You.

Fast forward and at the advent of one of the biggest labels in Hardcore history Raverbaby, Breeze teamed up with another powerhouse producer in the name of Darren Styles. This collaboration would spawn some of the biggest anthems of the modern ear with mega hits “You’re Shining” (UK #19), “Heartbeatz” (UK #16), “Let Me Fly” (UK #59).

In 2008 Mark created a new label in order to showcase his own productions, remixes and collaborations. Through this label he not only created more magic but also used it as a vehicle to showcase new talent. Futureworld the original label finished in 2013 with the final release “Inception - Breeze & Petruccio”. Soon after in order to refine the sound, the label was reborn “New Futureworld”. The new generation of UK Hardcore was now the driving force behind the label and from this rebirth a new sound was created. Some of the biggest artists in UK Hardcore history collaborated to create new songs that would spawn the revitalisation of the genre worldwide. Songs like Paranoia, Never Forget You, Xfer, Dagger, Sober, Without You, Say Yeah, Superhuman, Did Geri Do It, I Know You (Drop This), Bring Back The Rave, Scared, Rave Against The Machine, Brixton and 15 Seconds.

In 2015 Mark Breeze headlined the Australian leg of Defqon1. The uprising of UK Hardcore has seen the normally strict “Dutchstyle” event create an arena for UK Hardcore and in it’s second year running, looked to Breeze to headline. In the studio his most recent work has come through another new label making waves in the name of “Together We Rise”. His three releases on TWR has that distinct “Breeze” flavour. “Gotta Get”, “Raving Drug” and “Be Alone” are all floor fillers with the latter reaching #1 on the Hard Dance Top 100 Beatport charts.

He is mostly known in combination with Darren Styles, or Styles. Together, known as Styles & Breeze, they have produced some of the most popular hardcore and trance songs; examples include: "Heartbeatz", a UK #16 hit, "You're Shining" (UK #19), and "Let Me Fly" (UK #59).
