Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions or rejected Articles for creation drafts), or in articles for deletion" debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). This means that content deleted after discussion—at articles for deletion, categories for discussion, or miscellany for deletion among other deletion processes—may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided at all.

This page is only for requesting undeletion of articles or files which have already been deleted. If the article you are concerned about is still visible, but has a warning message (template) at the top, please do not post here, but follow the instructions in the template or on your talk page.

Note that requests for undeletion is not a replacement for deletion review. If you feel an administrator has erred in closing a deletion discussion or in applying a speedy deletion criterion, please contact them directly. If you discuss but are unable to resolve the issue on their talk page, it should be raised at Wikipedia:Deletion review, rather than here.

I have amended the image links so that they display correctly, and translated the captions, though you wish to improve my translations. When a page is translated from another Wikipedia, it is necessary to provide a link to the source, so as to give attribution to the authors whose work is used. This can be done by adding the template {{Translated page}} to the talk page of the translated article. Since you were the main author of de:Galerie Kovacek & Zetter this is less important, but there were other contributors, and it is still a good thing to do. Imerir

The page was deleted upon copyright violation suspicion, I am the original author of the text found on www.imerir.com which I shared willingly on wikipedia with under the CC licence at the request of the school head. I am surprised that I asked to follow the page following the copyright suspicion to which I responded, claiming authorship, but then got no message in response nor was I notified of the page deletion... odd. Authorship can be verified in the legal notes of the www.imerir.com website; you will find my name listed as webmaster, which you can compare to my account's email address. @Pierre.imerir:  Not done - assertion of permission to use material is not enough. The way to make a copyright release is explained at WP:Donating copyrighted materials.
However, simply copying an organization's own material is unlikely to make a satisfactory article: Wikipedia is not a place for organizations to tell the world about themselves. The inclusion criterion, called Wikipedia:Notability, requires references showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
Since you are connected with the organization you have, from Wikipedia's point of view, a Wikipedia:Conflict of interest and should read that page and the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide. More advice on your talk page soon. JohnCD (talk) 11:39, 14 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about people - see also WP:MUSICBIO. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning people will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject.   • Not done I'd initially restored this (as I saw that you'd tried re-doing it yourself), but it looks like the article was not only promotional in tone it was also WP:COPYVIO from this website. We cannot restore things that are promotional and taken from elsewhere - either on its own is enough for us to not be able to restore the draft. If you mean your user page User:Agnostos Theos, that was deleted because you wrote {{db-g7}} on it, which is a request for deletion, and before that it only said "My Page"; but you can re-create it any time. FMC Technologies

The old page was out of date and incorrect. I updated the information using financial press releases and the company's 2015 Annual Report. There is no marketing language on the page. If there is something wrong, I'd like to understand more and get some direction.   • Not done The language is fairly promotional and while I'm having some trouble bringing the website up, it appears that at least part of it is directly taken or paraphrased from this website. I can e-mail you a copy of the material and you can re-work it to remove the promotional tones and WP:COPYVIO, but I don't think it should be restored in its prior state. Thank-you Tokyogirl for your reply. I've emailed back-- The copyright violation does not exist because I am the author of the GNC bio-- I gave permission to George's personal assistant to use it. I agree that it all still needs to be rewritten-- and the promotional pieces removed especially regarding Impact Murals. Etc.
