Miss Venezuela 2016 will be the 64th edition of Miss Venezuela pageant to hold in October 2016. Outgoing titleholder Mariam Habach will crown her successor at the end of the event. The pageant will crown representatives of Venezuela to compete in Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Earth and Miss Supranational for 2017.
Pre-candidate
As in 2015, the regional franchises of Miss Venezuela made their castings in order to choose a group of pre-candidates who will travel to Caracas to the first edition of "La Magia de Ser Miss" to be held on August 1, 2016; where they immediately be reduced to the final and official candidates who subsequently obtained the respective bands of states and regions. So far, eight pre-candidates have been selected:
