Mudbound is an upcoming period drama directed by Dee Rees, with a script written by Virgil Williams based on the novel of the same name by Hillary Jordan. It will star Carey Mulligan, Garrett Hedlund, Jason Clarke and Jason Mitchell.
Premise
A family who has relocated to rural Mississippi who find themselves trying to cope with numerous issues, including racism and a relative's return from World War II.
