53°50′19″N 94°36′6″W / 53.83861°N 94.60167°W / 53.83861; -94.60167 Island Lake in a small community in northeastern Manitoba, Canada. The community is located by the shore of Island Lake, which is the 6th largest lake in the province. The current population of the community is 59[1]. The community is located 297 kilometers (185 miles) east from Thompson, Manitoba. Other nearby communities are Garden Hill and St. Theresa Point.
