Ovalgate is the generic term used to describe the ball-tampering controversy at the 4th Test match between England and Pakistan at The Oval on Sunday 20th August 2006. The term is used by, amongst others, the BBC's cricket correspondant Jonathan Agnew and Five Live radio presenter Simon Mayo.
