He currently serves as a member of the Standing Committee on Private Bills and is a member of the Standing Committee on Legislative Offices as well as the Standing Committee on Resource Stewardship. He previously served as deputy chair of the Standing Committee on Private Bills.

Mr. Kleinsteuber attended the University of Ottawa and received a baccalaureate in arts: concentration History/ concentration public policy and public management, which included studies in public policy and analysis and public administration.

Jamie Kleinsteuber (born 1976) is a Canadian politician who was elected in the Alberta general election, 2015 to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the electoral district of Calgary-Northern Hills.[1][2]

Originally from Picton, Ontario, Kleinsteuber moved to Alberta in 2010.[2] Residing in Cochrane, he ran as the party's candidate in Banff-Cochrane in the 2012 provincial election but lost to Ron Casey.[2] He moved to Calgary in early 2015.[2]
