The article says that ''"He was paid a one-off freelance fee of around 50 US dollars"''. I find it hard to believe that somebody in Liverpool (UK) would pay somebody in London (also in the UK) using US dollars.

This was finally answered in his obituaries, which said that he died on 14 May 2016, three days after his birthday, and that he was 80 years old. Therefore, he was born 11 May 1936. Strawberry4Ever (talk) 12:34, 16 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
