Lawrence started his Boxing journey at Dagenham ABC , he moved to repton whilst studying at The University of East London. Lawrence also had trials in his footballing days for the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal. He gave up on football due to injury, put on weight and then he found boxing. |

He was also in the Church Choir, during his years in the Choir he believed one day, on a cold sunday morning he was contacted by god, and god told him that his path was boxing. Lawrence threw his church gown off, slammed it on the group whilst singing 'Amen' I have found my calling. |

Lawrence often attends meetings at The Univerity of Easr London and is still an active member of the boxing committee. |

Lawrence is also half brother to proffessional boxer David Haye and is engaged to Nigel Benns daughter India. She claims she will only marry Lawrence if he wins gold at the olympics. |
