Personal life and education

Shaprow was born in El Paso, Texas. She studied media perception, cognition, psychology and philosophy at Yale University[15], While at Yale she released music on Warner Brothers Records, Om Records, Ministry of Sound and King Britt's FiveSix label.[16]

She is reclusive and only makes albums “When the music tells me to”.[17] She lives in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.[18]
