Manufacturer list
Wikipedia is not an advertising site for links to every possible manufacturer. See WP:NOT#REPOSITORY. Turgan Talk 19:56, 3 December 2009 (UTC)
- More to the point, this list will eventually devolve into a laundry list. Just about every system builder has some kind of gaming model to offer. Does a list of manufacturers provide any useful information about the subject? I doubt it, and in the meantime it will continue to be a spam magnet. I suggest removal and will wait a bit for comments. Ham Pastrami (talk) 08:10, 1 March 2010 (UTC)
- Since there have been no objections or explanations as to the list's relevance, I am proceeding with removal. Ham Pastrami (talk) 17:29, 16 March 2010 (UTC)
What the hell is this?
"One thing to keep in mind however, is do not get an extremely powerful graphics card that your CPU can barely handle. Getting a slightly lower-end graphics card and an excellent CPU will allow for near-perfect gameplay and room for upgrading in the future."
I bet it's written by someone working in INTEL. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.169.15.124 (talk) 03:46, 3 January 2013 (UTC)
Custom built gaming computers section
There seems to be use of opinion in this section which may not be appropriate. This is mainly under cooling with the words "logical remedy" and a blanket declaration that water cooling is more effective. In actual Water cooling vs Air Cooling depends on what actual coolers are being compared and what your goal is (noise vs performance) as some watercoolers while quiet don't remove as much heat or are loud and remove more and the same is the case for air cooling. I think at the very least it needs to be worded differently to remove the opinion from it and stick to facts. Also under processor the phrase " in the world of technology it is important to stay up to date with benchmarks" is used which I don't think is appopriate for an encyclopedia. I am new to Wikipedia editing but I thought I should point this all out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ps2jak2 (talk • contribs) 21:55, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
