== anthem of the USSR == |
|||
The "State Anthem of the USSR" (Russian: Государственный гимн СССР, tr. Gosudarstvenny Gimn SSSR) was introduced during World War II on 15 March 1944, replacing The Internationale as the official anthem of the Soviet Union and the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. The lyrics were written by Sergey Mikhalkov (1913–2009) in collaboration with Gabriel El-Registan (1899–1945) and the music was composed by Alexander Alexandrov (1883–1946). Although the Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991, its national anthem's melody continues to be used in the Russian Federation's national anthem, which has lyrics different from the Soviet one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.172.41.107 (talk) 11:41, 22 June 2016 (UTC) |

Page protection
Only admins can protect pages. Putting the template at the top of a page does nothing. If you want a page protected, make a request at Requests for Page Protection, which I am about to do for the Directors Guild of America Awards article.--Dycedarg ж 06:14, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
Thanx
Thanx for reverting the edits on the michael Jackson article, clearly that person never read the article but just saw the heading. Yours from the depth of enlightenmentRealist2 20:00, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
I have just looked at the users edit history he has done this before so obviously it was deliberate. 1 Yours from the depth of enlightenmentRealist2 20:00, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
Hello
The format I was using for the IMDb link was given to me by another editor who said it was the new way to enter the link. I never checked to see if it was working properly. I appreciate your making the corrections you did. However, may I suggest if in the future you discover someone is repeatedly using an incorrect format that you contact the individual directly and let him or her know instead of making the changes and hoping or assuming he or she eventually will realize what's wrong? Thanks! LiteraryMaven (talk) 20:28, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

I only called it vandalism because I'm so used to reverting false info all the time. No hard feelings.

Jonathan Frid - conflicting sources
I had added the entry based on the article, but even within the article, there are RSes that indicate either the 14th or the 13th. What should take precedence? MSJapan (talk) 00:31, 21 April 2012 (UTC)

This IP already had multiple blocks, and came off of one block to repeat the same kind of edits that he got blocked for in the first place. Because you didn't actually report him to WP:AIV, you had to unnecessarily deal with his vandalism for the past month. In the future, report IPs to AIV and don't mollycoddle them.—Ryulong (竜龙) 17:40, 8 May 2012 (UTC)

I was wondering where could I leave messages to you (Crboyer). And really, you've got to admit that last one from ricky gervais's as a polar bear was hilarious. Anyway, I'm truly sorry for all the trouble. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.19.42.252 (talk) 09:54, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
Article Feedback deployment
Hey Crboyer; I'm dropping you this note because you've used the article feedback tool in the last month or so. On Thursday and Friday the tool will be down for a major deployment; it should be up by Saturday, failing anything going wrong, and by Monday if something does :). Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 23:50, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
A cup of tea for you!

I have discovered a YouTube video which says that he died. Unfortunately, as of now, there is no other source to be found. Would this YouTube video be suffice? I have even spoke to the wife of Avakian and she says he died. Proudbolsahye (talk) 01:14, 13 July 2013 (UTC)

I saw over on The Flash (video game) you have run afoul of this user. Far more infuriating than the user's persistent edits on video game articles are the user's edit summaries and numerous IPs (all of which trace back to Southern California/Northern Mexico)... Edge of Tomorrow
There's no way Cage and Rita get out of a highly fortified military base/hospital crawling with guards (which the movie itself highlights on the first try. After watching the movie 4 times, you notice the movie cuts from the hospital scene directly to them hiding behind 2 crates. Cruise knows exactly when the guard sees them and moves according. He has done this before. The power of editing means we don't need to take the movie linearly. We could be seeing any number of edits at a given time. Evidence highly points to the fact that he did not lose the power when he told Rita he did.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for December 18
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1991 in film, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Action and Thriller (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:56, 18 December 2015 (UTC)

The Revenant cite list error
At the end of the citations list in the bibliography of The Revenant there is a cite error printing out. I gave it a short search though I couldn't locate it, could you give it look when time allow. Cheers. Fountains-of-Paris (talk) 16:28, 22 March 2016 (UTC)

Opinion please
Hello. A relatively new user has reported the IP 134.83.3.173 to AIV for vandalism on Sulima coat of arms. I see you are editing that article so are probably more familiar with it than I am; I'd value your opinion on whether you think that IP's contributions do constitute vandalism and warrant a block. I see quite a few references being removed (which is a form of vandalism) but also a lot of content editing which seems more acceptable, so I'm not quite sure what to make of it!
