Secrets Can Kill was the first computer game in the popular Nancy Drew computer game series. This game the first of the five Nancy Drew game developed by Dream Catcher and Her Interactive. (The others were made solely by Her Interactive.) Secrets Can Kill puts you in the shoes of popular detective Nancy Drew, meaning you see everything from her point of view. This game is 3D, but the characters are cartoonish 2D, in later games the characters are 3D also. Secrets Can Kill is often abbreviated as SCK among fans.
The game is based off the book "Secrets Can Kill" in the Nancy Drew Files Series.
Plot
Overview
In this game Nancy is visiting her Aunt Eloise, when a student of a nearby school is brutally murdered. The student, Jake Rogers, was greatly disliked at Paseo Del Mar High. Nancy decides to investigate the murder and find out who murdered Jake and why. Though generally considered to be the least favorite of the Nancy Drew games, Secrets Can Kill paved the way for the future of the series.
Suspects
The suspects are the people you talk to and question about the murder and other things, there are four suspects: Daryl Gray, Hal Tanaka, Connie Watson, and Hector "Hulk" Sanchez.
Daryl Gray Daryl Gray is basically your informant, he can be found at Maxine's Diner, where he works. Daryl is the rich pretty-boy of the game who works at a diner and drives a Porsche.
Hal Tanaka Hal Tanaka is a nerdy sort of guy who studies all the time, you can find him in the study hall at the school. Hal is a foreign exchange student from Japan, he is trying to get a scholarship so he can go to college. Hal isn't his real name either, he just chose it to fit in better.
Connie Watson Connie Watson is a tough girl who is into judo, you can always find her in the student lounge. Connie is a pretty normal girl, with a dark secret.
Hulk Sanchez Hulk Sanchez is a stereotypical jock who may even play for the Manatees one day. Hulk does pretty well in school, the girls all love him, and he seems to have a great life.
