Helen Mirra is an American conceptual artist.

She was born in Rochester, New York in 1970, graduated from Bennington College in 1991, and received her MFA in studio art from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1996. Mirra has been artist-in-residence at University of California at Berkeley,[2] with the DAAD in Berlin,[3] and at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.[4] She taught for most of her early career, including as Senior Lecturer in Visual Art and Cinema & Media Studies at the University of Chicago[5] and as Loeb Associate Professor of the Humanities at Harvard University.[6]
