Oncheon-cheon is a branch river of Suyeong River, which came from Geumjeongsan and flows alike Busan Metro Line 1, then joins Suyeong River. Long time ago, they called as 'Seocheon' or 'Dongnaecheon' because their river was mother's love. However, after artifical channel straightening and built for parking lots, river's ecosystem was also destroyed. Oncheoncheon's Viewpoint To protect the river, the minister of Yeonje District, has put out concrete structure and turned them into natural river since 1999.

Also, on April 2000, eight social environmental communities volunteered to save their ecosystem, tried to help the Earth and finally saved Oncheon-cheon located in Dongnae District and others.
