Alice Iyabo Ojo is a Nigerian film actress, director, and producer.[1][2][3]

Early life and Education

Iyabo was born on December 21, 1977 in Lagos. She schooled at National College, Gbagbada in Lagos before she proceeded to study Estate Management at Lagos State Polytechnic.[4]

Career

She commenced her acting career began in 1998 after joining the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) [4] She has scripted and featured in several Nigerian films. Ojo's first role was in 1998's Satanic, an English-language film. In 2002, she made her Yoruba-language debut with Baba Darijinwon.[5] In January 2015, her film Silence, which features Joseph Benjamin Alex Usifo, Fathia Balogun, and Doris Simeon, premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas, Ikeja in Lagos.[6][7]

Personal life

Iyabo has two children but she is now separated from their father.[8] She attributed the breakup of her first marriage to getting married too young.[9]
