Waarrior Savitri (Hindi: वॉरियर सावित्री )[2] is an upcoming Hindi, a modern-day adaption of the very famous fable – Satyavan Savitri, written and directed by Param Gill.[3][4] The film stars Niharica Raizada,[5] Rajat Barmecha, Om Puri[6] and Gulshan Grover. Upender Maheshwari and Bobby Kanda have produced Waarrior Savitri under the banner of Dr Bob’s Production.
Romance, action and thrill – ‘Waarrior Savitri’ has been filmed in Jodhpur, Mumbai and Las Vegas. British Model Lucy Pinder makes her big Bollywood debut in India. Movie will release on 25 August 2016.[7]

Controversy
The film received opposition at some places for its depiction of the Hindu goddess Savitri as a 21st-century woman.[11]
