Hi There. I'm BeMoreLikeSloths. I started 'using' Wikipedia in 2011 but only made an account 2016 because I would like to share my facts and information to world!
About Me
Football Team I support the South Yorkshire football team of Sheffield Wednesday in England,Hillsborough, Sheffield and my favorite (who sadly might move to Derby County .) is Fernando Forestieri. From the 13th August is being kind of a let down for his whole team and supporters.
=Railway and Trains= I am obsessed with British Rail trains, my favorite being the Class 158 because it runs on my local line (Yorkshire Coast Line from Scarborough, via Bridlington to Hull which some extend to Doncaster or Sheffield which is currently operated by Northern. Sorry I think I went a bit off there!
My favourite railway station is Bridlington, however major improvements are needed at it, including either a platform restoration or removal, the old Island platform (ex-platform 7 and 8 which was cut out of use due to low passenger services which left limited services calling at Bridlington, however the new franchise has announced a new service to Leeds via Selby) which has just been over-grown and is a ugly sight to see especially considering Bridlington is a popular seaside town on the east coast of the UK. Considering Serco and Abellio operating the Northern franchise, it is visible to see Arriva Trains Northern light blue paint on facilities and canopies. The railway bridge is in need of a refurbishment or a new bridge to take its place also it this were to happen, the new bridge should have a lift for passengers with disabilities or have wheel-chairs, there is staff that allow passengers to cross via the tracks however, this is only during the day. Finally my last concern about Bridlington station's appearance is the canopies, old and rain does leak through them.
The other thing about the railway and their stations is that it learns me new places in the UK. My favourite subject is definitely 'Geography' and I wouldn't know half the places I know in the UK if it wasn't for train stations.
