Warstic is an offense-only brand out to change what performance design looks like. Warstic believes a bat is more than just a tool, it’s an instrument that represents the player’s personal style. While others in the industry focus on the idea that a bat will enhance physical athletic performance, Warstic’s focus is on how one trains their mind for the art of hitting. "I discovered the Warstic company through my love of design," [[Jack White]] said in a statement. "I was drawn to the simplicity and harshness of the designs. Most baseball bats and equipment in the sports world do not impress me much, but I think that there is a lot of room to explore aesthetic ideas in just baseball alone that can bring beauty and purpose to the weapons that athletes use to accomplish their goals."

Warstic

Warstic is an independent USA sporting goods company focused on the art of hitting. Warstic hand crafts wood and metal bats, athletic gear, and lifestyle apparel for baseball and softball players of all ages looking for both quality craftsmanship and unique design.

History

Warstic founder, Ben Jenkins, is an American designer, entrepreneur, and founder of the Dallas-based brand strategy and design firm, OneFastBuffalo. Jenkins, also a former minor league baseball player, started Warstic in 2011. In April of 2016, Jenkins partnered with Grammy award-winning artist and Third Man RecordsJack White, and Detroit Tigers Second Baseman, Ian Kinsler, who invested in the business.[1][2][3][4]

Professional baseball players that have used Warstic include: Ian Kinsler, Nick Castellanos, Cameron Maybin, Miguel Cabrera, Jacoby Jones, Justin Upton, Josh Donaldson, Jacoby Ellsbury, Jace Peterson, George Springer, Bryan Holaday, Mitch Moreland, Kyle Seager, Alex Avila, Austin Jackson, and Jimmy Rollins.

Brand & Design

Warstic is an offense-only brand out to change what performance design looks like. Warstic believes a bat is more than just a tool, it’s an instrument that represents the player’s personal style. While others in the industry focus on the idea that a bat will enhance physical athletic performance, Warstic’s focus is on how one trains their mind for the art of hitting. "I discovered the Warstic company through my love of design," Jack White said in a statement.

Warstripes Logo

Jenkins said of the Warstripes logo, "The Warstripes are meant to represent simplicity and the balance of opposing forces: good and evil, war and peace, chaos and quiet. It’s a state of focus where mind, heart, and physical skill converge and where flow, instinct, and belief meet. It’s about mindfulness, confidence, and being present." [5]

Products

Warstic’s core products consist of baseball and softball hard and soft goods for hitting.

Warstic offers an extensive line of pro grade wood bats like the Ian Kinsler Pro Signature Collection, Pro Training Series, Pro Standard Issue, Pro Custom, and their Designer Series wood bats in which each of the designs bring in the essence and spirit of things they are inspired by in the natural world. They also offer vintage-style wood bats, promotional bats, and wood softball bats.

Currently, Warstic only offers adult BBCOR metal bats, but is expanding its line of metal bats to offer youth sizes later in 2016.

Warstic’s core soft goods products include their Workman Series Batting Gloves, Training Apparel, and Lifestyle Apparel.

Philanthropy

Warstic donates a portion of profits to support the cause of health and wellness of Native American youth, as well as combat injured U.S. Military veterans.
