Gigyani or Gigyaani son of Mak is one of the important tribes of Pashtun tribe. Shabqadar Doaaba is the main land of Gigyanis. In Shabqadar, a village Matta Mughal Khel has sizeable majority of Gigyanis. Gigyanis are also present in Ambar Mohmand Agency, Harichand Charsadda, kabul and other areas.
