Aiming to reach 1000 article improvements and creations for Indian cinema long term from general independent article contribution, based on the Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. I encourage all editors from India and elsewhere! to contribute towards this long term and I think it will motivate people to pake quality improvements to stale older articles and improvement content and to really show what progress we're making. Article cleanup and basic referencing improvements, expansions, new articles, DYKs, Good Articles, Featured Articles etc, are all welcome. The general focus is on quality, expansions or minimum start class articles, but meatier stubs provided that they're well-sourced and useful are also welcome. Note that this 1000 Challenge is not a contest in itself. Several contests could be held potentially for Indian cinema to fuel this, from a general contest to individual ones for Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu cinema, or Indian actors etc. If it goes well we may even up the goal to something larger! Let's see how this goes first though. I would be very grateful if people could help spread the word on this, invite potential contributors who often work on articles related to these countries and we can see what can be achieved!
