Prof Vincent J. McBrierty, KCSG, BSc, PhD, ScD[1] is an Irish academician, author, educator, physicist, and researcher.

An alumnus of St. Mary's Christian Brothers' Grammar School, Belfast, he attended Trinity College Dublin, where he began teaching in 1967. He specializes in Irrigation and Water Management and Soil and Environmental sciences. He co-authored The World in Crisis: the Response of the Church (with Gerry O'Hanlon), Vol. 63, No. 9 (September 2012), pp. 391-400, Published by: The Furrow.[2]
