Prof Vincent J. McBrierty, BSc, PhD, ScD,[1][2] a Knight of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George, is an Irish academician, author, educator, physicist, and researcher.
An alumnus of St. Mary's Christian Brothers' Grammar School, Belfast, he attended Trinity College Dublin, where he began teaching in 1967, and where he is now Fellow Emeritus, Physics.[3]
McBrierty specializes in Irrigation and Water Management and Soil and Environmental sciences. He co-authored The World in Crisis: the Response of the Church (with Fr. Gerry O'Hanlon S.J.), The Furrow. Vol. 63, No. 9 (September 2012), pp. 391-400.[4]
