'Til Death is a FOX sitcom starring Brad Garrett (of Everybody Loves Raymond fame). The series is about a pair of newlyweds that move in next door to a veteran married couple of 25 years. Til Death premiered on September 7, 2006. Its timeslot is Thursdays at 8pm EST-PST/7pm CST.
Premise
A pair of newlyweds, Jeff Woodcock (Eddie Kaye Thomas, American Pie movies) and Steph Woodcock (Kat Foster, Law & Order),who have been married 12 days, move in next door to a couple, Eddie (Brad Garrett, Everybody Loves Raymond) and Joy Stamm (Joely Fisher, Desperate Housewives) who have been married for over 8,000 days. The newlyweds get a surprising look at what their future might hold.
Real-life husband and wife Josh Goldsmith and Cathy Yuspa are the show's writers.
Trivia
Recently, movie theaters have been showing ads for the show which feature Brad Garrett trying to scare the audience by saying that he can see them.
The show aired on Canadian television on September 6th, one day before the USA premiere date.
Two scenes in the pilot show a rapt Joy watching The Ellen DeGeneres Show. This is an in-joke, as Joely Fisher co-starred with DeGeneres in Ellen.
