If the "chip" is so wonderful, why doesn't Former Secretary Thompson have one inplanted in HIMSELF, or perhaps HIS family ? No, I'm not a "Whining Religious nut", just a freedom loving American. Look at the abuse of Social Security numbers. Now imagine the abuse and fraud that could be done with Verichips. No chip for me. NEVER. |

well you could call me the antichrist, and i would take pride in that, but why anyone would think the verichip is a good idea amazes me. i do however admire that the minister above can question the bible and doesn't let its fear run his life. but... why would you want to do something that displaces more power and control to the government versus the people, just because you were robbed? why does everybody like to give up rights and freedom over such petty things, like videogame violence, for example? dont they understand how important the value of freedom was to this government as it was established, and how important these things are to keeping a democracy benevolant and free? not that we live in much of a democracy right now. im sorry i hate politcs and i avoid it like the plague but shouldnt this be apparant to people? and every punk kid says this, i know, but hasnt anyone read 1984? |

I am very excited about this new technology. I am a victim of identity fraud, this surely is the prefix to resolving such issues. I am a licensed minister and really do not condemn this product because my opinion is; It’s your choice. This world will continue without our old fashion, fundamental beliefs. If we as Christians really believe what we say we do, then this is not doom, this is a conclusion to a period of time of which we are benefactors. Jesus Christ has never forsaken me, and He will surely not forsake me during this episode of life. My life doesn’t have to be prosperous to live faithful to what I believe. This chip will be a beautiful implement to a desperate society of fraud. Our society needs this. Will I use it? No. Do I need it? No. To each their own. For those that want it, take it, your life is yours to live. God Bless – revtjbenson@earthlink.net
Human cognition has in each moment a boundary. This limit moves with time, but for now still exists. Safety of computer system requires to not assume unknown in design. Building system, which project makes such assumption, is making useless risk for users. It is unknown, whether Bible is false. You should not build basing on unchecked components.

I don't understand why every time new technology comes about we have to put the religous perspective. I hardly believe the president of the VeriChip is the AntiChrist. We should just make a new wikipage called "Whining Religious nuts" and move all this crap there. H2P 22:34, 26 July 2006 (UTC)
