Hi, I'm Matt Smith, a Wikipedian from Indiana, USA, currently living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have lived in Coventry, England; Barcelona, Spain; and Accra, Ghana; so my edits often focus on those geographical areas. I usually edit pages related to policy, politics, linguistics, or current international events (elections, wars, social movements...).
My past connections include work with the League of Conservation Voters, Wolf PAC, Amnesty International, and some other progressive organizations. I have also volunteered or worked in the past for some Democratic political candidates, including John Gregg, Joe Donnelly, Russ Feingold, and Hillary Clinton. I tend to support the Democratic Party but identify more as a radical democrat.
My first contribution was to create the page for Mike Claytor, a candidate for Indiana State Auditor, and I continue to monitor and update the article. My recent focus has been updating and expanding stubs related to Ghana.
