Newzbin is a Usenet Indexing site, that allow users to browse content made available through Usenet.
The reason for the existence of Usenet Indexing sites like Newzbin, is that it liberates the user from the potential task of downloading millions of headers, and that it make the the search for specific content faster and more easy.
Apart from a search function, where you simply type in the title of the specific content that you want to download, Newzbin also offer its users a possibility to browse through all the indexed content, divided in categories like "music", "movies" and "games".
The content of the site is created by human editors, who browse through the content of usenet and create the organized and proberly titled posts, that is made available from the site.
The basic version of the site is currently free, but some functions like the possibility to download the NZB files, that are required to download the content directly without downloading the headers from Usenet, still require the user to be a paying member.
Newzbin currently keep its posts around 40 days, before they are removed from the site.
