Revision as of 11:19, 31 December 2016

Removed Chunks from the book "In the Line of Fire"

This is outright copyright infringement. what u mean —Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.159.219.237 (talk) 15:29, 21 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Poorly written at best

Aside from the claim of plagiarism by 65.184.146.90, there are headings with no description and the remarks are completely disjoint. The issue of relations between the U.S. and Pakistan are very relevant to current events and the article should be written appropriately for it. 64.178.97.74 12:17, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreeing with the above comment, Pak US relationships are extremely relevant to the current world affairs, not only as bilateral relations, but also in context of their worldwide impact and other nations' reactions such as India, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Afghanistan. Speaking as a Pakistani, this sounds and reads like a highly biased version which can be mostly found in tabloids and other run of the mill local newspapers which mostly contain rhetoric and pessimism over Pak US relationships. The language and style are against Wikipedia rules, as well as dubious citations (unreliable sources). This needs a complete cleanup and revamp.182.178.32.135 (talk) 14:57, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I agree this is awful

Needs a serious haircut and a major overhaul. Manicjedi (talk) 18:15, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

info

Military aid from the United States

Pakistan is a major non-NATO ally as part of the War on Terrorism. A leading recipient of US military aid, Pakistan is expected to receive approximately 1.3 billion for 2010[1]. 25% of the military is subsidized by the US government.[2].

All the info stated above has oready been stated

25% of the military is subsidized by the US government.[3]. the point made is not backed by refMughalnz (talk) 00:16, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

What? 25% of the Pakistani armed forces is subsidized by the government. You can't just remove an entire section because one sentence is disputed. Use the [citation needed] tag when necessary. Please restore the paragraph. Wikifan12345 (talk) 01:32, 16 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the section becuase it is repeating information already stated on the page that why i removed it .But if you stil want to added it ,i can help you add more info. Also point you made on the last line is not is not backed by ref ,but again you put back on the page ,this seen as vandalism. But you probaly forgot about it so all good good will edit. Mughalnz (talk) 01:17, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

U.S. diplomat Raymond Devis stays in Prison for being accused of shooting 2 people in Lahore since over 3 weeks. That should be mentioned in the article. --77.4.51.131 (talk) 17:12, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Events?

Shouldn't there be an addage of the NATO attack on Pakistan that occurred on November 26th? Because I'm not finding any information about this in this article. 173.188.57.152 (talk) 18:07, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Nice observation the deaths of the Pakistani troops caused the blockage of supply routes and significant political stress between Nato and Pakistan definitely needs a mention Westwoodzie (talk) 20:29, 10 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
