Obviously, she is married to an Irish husband. Her husband is Irish because the surname Hassan is Irish.

People's Pledge

I removed the People's Pledge because it does not appear significant, particularly given how little is written about the election as a whole. Thank you. Not only is it clearly a campaign gimmick, but it's also not even correct information. It omits many details in order to paint Hassan in the most negative light possible. Midnight madness? What's Governor Hassan's last 'date' of office?

If Hassan's resignation as Governor took effect at exactly midnight on 3 January 2017. Then shouldn't her gubernatorial tenure ending date be 2 January 2017? GoodDay (talk) 05:32, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This [1] says she planned to resign at 11:59pm on Jan 2. We should go based on what reliable sources say. If we have an updated source that explained what happened, as opposed to what was planned, that would probably be best, but for now I think saying her term ended Jan 2 is fair based on the source.
