In December of 2015, LiL PEEP dropped his first full project titled LiL PEEP PART ONE on SoundCloud and Bandcamp. It wasn't until his most recent release for HELLBOY where he began really gaining traction. As of Jan. 2017, the project has over 8.8M collective plays on his Soundcloud account. LiL PEEP is described by Pitchfork as "the fresh-faced avatar of post-emo angst that’s not quite rap or rock. Instead, it falls into a grey area full of with spidery guitars, 808 drums, and wall-of-sound production. It’s been described as the “new emo” and “emo trap,” raw and stinging and a direct confluence of his influences—Gucci Mane, Crystal Castles, Panic! at the Disco."<ref name="Pitchfork" |

This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of music-related topics). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
