Firangi is an upcoming 2017 Bollywood Comedy Drama film directed by Punjabi Film director Rajeev Dhingra. The film stars Kapil Sharma and Ishita Dutta in the lead roles. ^[1] The shooting of the film had started from 25th November, 2016 in different locations of Punjab and Rajasthan. ^[2] The film is co-produced by Kapil Sharma. ^[3] As per sources it is said that Ishita will play the role of a NRI girl in the movie. While Kapil will play the role of a village boy who falls in love with that girl. ^[4] From some sources it is said that South movie star Tamannaah will also play a role in the film. But there is no clarity about her role. ^[5]
