Era styles, claims Britons invented the calendar, etc

We've got WP:ERA just to avoid people adding their preferred styles. Most of your changes were against our guideline. One of your main purposes here seems to be to change era styles to meet your preference. Given that, your other edits and your talk page edits, you aren't really here to help build the encyclopedia. British dates should use British styles. That is the rule. And please don't insult me with your ridiculous assertions about my intentions. I read about a 100 pages for each one that I feal is clearly wrong and needs to be edited.

No, there is no rule that British dates should use British styles. And there is no British style. To my surprise, the Daily Mail used BCE recently.[1] Just follow the guideline and you'll be ok. Follow your own made up rule.... Doug Weller talk 19:17, 11 January 2017 (UTC)

Of course there is a rule that you use the appropriate dating system and don't force your own political views onto history.

The simple fact is that churchmen not only created the modern Calendar but without these churchmen we wouldn't have any Roman dates nor much of British History. There is also another golden rule that you respect the original person who created an idea and acknowledge them when using their system. British history is based on the AD system, Likewise Roman history. And you are disrespecting the hard work of the people without whom you would have no dates to use by bastardising the system they invented.

And please, I have no interest in discussing the subject with someone who has such disdain for our historians so please don't bother responding.
