Norman Bates (Perkins) once more having mother trouble. This time around he is invited to share memories of his mother with a radio talk show host, Fran Ambrose (Pounder). After the death of his father, Norman and his mother lived alone together in a very unhealthy state of independence. When Norman was a teenager, his mother took a lover making him insanely jealous. He murdered them with strychnine and preserved his mother's corpse. But Norman fears that he may kill again for his beloved is impregnated with his child and Norman cannot let another psychopath loose in the civilized world.
