Kaveh Madani (born 1981) is an Iranian environmentalist, water expert and Reader of Systems Analysis and Policy at the Centre for Environmental Policy of Imperial College London. He is known internationally for his work on integrating game theory and decision analysis into water resources management models[1].

Awards

Madani was recognized as one of the 10 "New Faces of Civil Engineering" by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) in 2012[2]. In 2016, he was selected by the European Geosciences Union (EGU) as one of the four recipients of the Arne Richter Award for Outstanding Young Scientists[3][4] for "fundamental contributions to integrating game theory and decision analysis into water management models"[1]
