Please re-review page - all concerns taken care of
My colleague created a page with some mistakes - [[Draft:SAP_Web_IDE]]. I (195.93.234.8 (talk) 06:45, 5 March 2017 (UTC)) have taken care of all the concerns -- notability, sourcing -- and believe it is ready to be released. It is as sourced and notable as hundreds of already approved Wikipedia pages on similar subjects. Can you re-review the page? If OK, should I remove the warnings? Thanks for reviewing in the first place.

Speedy tagging

Hi KGirlTrucker81, thanks for patrolling articles. It is suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created, as you did at Society of Chartered Financial Analysts of the United Kingdom. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. -- samtar talk or stalk 13:19, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I know, but sometimes it can be deleted by other admins fastly and hasty is not required to do this. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 16:05, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This isn't a competition. If you leave a page for half an hour and someone else deletes it, who cares? samtar's point was that you should wait and see if a page will be developed. I got pissed off when I created a page and had it tagged while I was in the process of adding more content, and I'm an experienced editor. Imagine how it would feel as a relatively new editor. Primefac (talk) 16:15, 6 December 2016 (UTC) (talk page stalker)[reply]
Only clear non-notable subjects such as this one: "Caroline Douglas is a awesome and funny person" and usually issue an uw-autobiography or uw-notsocialnetwork to show Wikipedia is not Facebook or LinkedIn. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 16:57, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Once again your comments are completely illogical and irrelevant to what has previously been said. Please, listen to what these two have to say, as experienced editors. Patient Zerotalk 20:03, 6 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Tactical Edge, Inc.

Hi KGirlTrucker81, thanks for reviewing my article about Tactical Edge, Inc. However, while my talk page says that the article has been created, it does not appear that it was actually created. I can't find any evidence of the article anywhere. I'm new to Wikipedia editing, so perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place? You accepted the article at 20:47, 6 November 2016 (UTC). Would appreciate any help you can provide in getting the article visible. Thanks. Garberinotalk

Garberino, it appears that shortly after being accepted, your draft was PRODded and subsequently deleted on 14 November 2016. I'm rather surprised that you did not receive notification of the PROD tags being placed on the page. Ronhjones was the one who deleted the page, so you should talk to them about possibly undeleting the article. Primefac (talk) 19:11, 7 December 2016 (UTC) (talk page stalker)[reply]

Removing comments from other user's talk pages

Please don't remove comments from other user's talk pages. Per WP:OWNTALK, user talk pages are subject to thegeneral userpage guidelines on handling inappropriate content, which say that content should only be removed from another user's user space if it is something that must be addressed urgently ("for example, unambiguous copyright, attack, defamation, or BLP reasons, etc."). Comments that are simply offtopic, not formatted correctly, misplaced, etc. should be left up to the talk page owner to remove. In the case of my talk page, the comment you removed was clearly an attempt by an inexperienced user to call my attention to what they perceived to be an error in a Wikipedia article. While they may or may not be correct, and the comment wasn't formatted per the usual Wikipedia guidelines, a content dispute is an appropriate thing to be on a user's talk page. --Ahecht (TALK

samtar, without seeing how the page was created, my guess is KGirl moved the page at some point. I've had a fair number of "creations" simply due to the fact that I moved a page and its creation got credited to me. Primefac (talk) 00:00, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Zamzam -- request for help

hi, thank you for reviewing zamzam_ship. I am a newbie and would like to request your help with the disambiguation page for zamzam. Right now, searching on zamzam leads to the disambiguation page (including links to well, ship, party, and soft drink). I think searching on zamzam should redirect straight to the zamzam well page, and then all the other pages should be offered on the disambiguation page. It is not clear to me how to make a search redirect to a single page by default. Can you help me fix this please? thank you. Lcb03 (talk) 16:24, 11 December 2016 (UTC)lcb03[reply]

Well, disambiguation pages are entries at the same word (like "do you mean") etc. You can add Zamzam (ship) to the dab page with a short description of the subject. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 16:37, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I must not be explaining the problem clearly. Let me try again. When you search wikipedia for the word "spoon," it takes you directly to the "spoon_utensil" page, and then that page offers links to the spoon disambiguation page. In contrast, when you search wikipedia for the word "zamzam," it takes you directly to the zamzam disambiguation page. I think searching on zamzam should take the user directly to the zamzam_well page, and then that page should offer links to the disambiguation page and the other pages (on ship, party, and softdrink).Lcb03 (talk) 16:44, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) Yes, that's what dab and redirect notice templates used to do. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 16:54, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great, so I think we have the same understanding of what should happen. I tried to use the templates correctly on the zamzam page but clearly failed. I can't figure out how to make the zamzam search act like the spoons search. So I'm hoping that with your expertise you can help fix it so it works the way it should. Let me know if I should ask elsewhere. Thanks.Lcb03 (talk) 17:01, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ATMIA orphan tag (24 Dec 2016)

Hello Thanks for the additional edits. Rearding the orphan tag to the new contribution, ATM Industry Association is referenced in the following Wiki pages:

cash machine / Automated Teller Machine (twice) Windows XP (which corroborates footnote 8 in the current ATMIA article page) KAL Software MegaLink Oberthur Cash Protection

All these were referenced back in the "See also" section of the ATMIA. I also added the ref back (ie "[[") to these but not showing when I search Wiki or using Google (for ATMIA). In any case, this is a minor technical issue and I do believe the "orphan" tag is unwarranted.

I'm going to add one more reference soon, and I intend to keep updating the article, but what I've got is just about state of the art. Thanks again for resding this, as I am a newbie and this is my first attempt at using "talk". Dennis Drdfp (talk) 17:42, 27 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

16:59:15, 28 December 2016 review of submission by Msbitinkov

Hi, just wanted to check why the submission was declined. The majority of proofs in this case are the pictures, I have added links to them including those on FMD — Preceding unsigned comment added by Msbitinkov (talkcontribs) 16:59, 28 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Msbitinkov, please read The Golden Rule; your draft is currently failing the first (and most important) point - there is simply no significant coverage of Inga Barkovska. The galleries may "prove" that she had per pictures taken, but we need words on the page to say who she is and why she's notable. See WP:YFA for more information about improving the page. December 2016

Lzzjsd (talk) 04:01, 29 December 2016 (UTC) G'day mate, I suggested the term "Surrogate Friendship" on the Friendship page and it has been reverted. Any good reason? I think this new section is rather important because the "friendship" term has now become the "function" on social sites and the activity to how things up.. I would appreciate your giving reasons for such decision. Thanks Lzzjsd (talk) 04:01, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Review of submission Draft:SAP_Web_IDE

Hi KGirlTrucker81, thanks for reviewing the article on SAP Web IDE. I saw that the reject reason was regarding information sources. Following yours and others reviews I improved it, I used as many independent (non-SAP) sources as possible. I used "Enterprise IT World", "CIO", "insideSAP", "TechTarget", "Forbes" and more. I'd appreciate if you can let me know how I can make this article better and published :-). Raz.korn (talk) 15:22, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, SwisterTwister declined your submission again because it still doesn't have independent third-party sources rather than press releases. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:28, 29 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi KGirlTrucker81, thanks again for reviewing the article on SAP Web IDE. I made the corrections you suggested, which should resolve the issue. Now I have articles from "Computer Weekly", "Forrester Research" and other truly independent and reliable sources. I believe these sources make the case that SAP Web IDE is significant. I'd appreciate if you can approve the article. Raz.korn (talk) 09:33, 5 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

17:36:48, 1 January 2017 review of submission by Daniela-S

Dear KGirlTrucker81, Thank you for your amazingly quick response to the wiki page I'm trying to create for my friend Daniela Sieff. I've never done one before. I've read the recommended pages and have tried to make changes to the original submission, removing links to bitly.com and replacing them with ones to YouTube, added references containing links to Daniela's personal webpage, to Routledge's page advertising her book, plus internal links to other wiki pages. I'm still getting error messages, so am clearly doing something(s) wrong. Sorry to be a pest on New Years Day, but I'd appreciate some pointers to where exactly I'm going wrong. all best wishes for the New Year, Peter

BLP PROD on Erasma Arellano

I've undone your placement of a WP:BLPROD on Erasma Arellano. The article had a reference - it may not have been an inline link, but it had a section marked "Reference" that list the title, publishing year, and publisher for a book. If you have checked that book and found that it has no reference to the subject of the article, let me know and I'll restore the PROD. --Nat Gertler (talk) 01:20, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@NatGertler: The article is now at AFD after you removed the BLPPORD. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 06:44, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
So I see. Did you actually read the article that you've repeatedly try to have deleted? Because half of it is a Reference section, which shows you a source. You don't seem to have done WP:BEFORE, as a Google search would've shown you that the subject is a medal-winner. Then you mark it for deletion discussion as if they were an actor or filmmaker, rather than an athlete. --Nat Gertler (talk) 07:36, 3 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. After multiple attempts to submit Elgin's page for acceptance I've continued to be declined due to the references used - when clearly he's a notable person within not only his industry of hair, but entertainment as well. What can I do to ensure this will eventually be approved? I understand some of the references are name drops (used to verify details mentioned in the text), but they seem noteworthy and to be from credible sources. Individuals and entities accosted with (including those who have studied under Elgin) have wikipedia pages, yet he can't seem to get one! Any of your help would be greatly appreciated.

Redirecting Sayyed Ziya -> Zia'eddin Tabatabaee

I'm the person requesting the redirect (not at home, ergo IP). The source is Ervand Abrahamian, "the coup" (I also edited the page in question with that source). I verified the history of the person, and it is the same person. The "sayyed" is missing on the english page, but it's on the German and Spanish pages. There seems to be a million different ways to romanize Persian names; my philosophy is to catch them all. I'm a wikipedia newbie, so I don't know if this talk page is the relevant place to write this. Uglemat (talk) 15:58, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

no automatic inherited notability from anything or anyone else

Not following your logic. This person leads the World's largest and most prolific space launch company. He is one of the best known individuals in the space industry.

A simple googling of his name yields pages and pages of news articles. Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Washington Post, CNN, CNBC, Fortune, Forbes.... etc

The tone of your NAC of Tennisuser123's ORCP was uncalled for. As none of us know what the future may hold for them in an RFA, statements like "Frankly, you have no chance of passing an RFA" are inappropriate and are a violation of AGF. Hello, you rightly rejected this draft a couple of weeks ago. A similar page was created in mainspace at List of Indycar broadcasters within minutes of the draft being started. However, the creator has seemingly ignored the article until today when he copied the content of the draft to the page (no attribution). By way of background, this is a long-term IP-hopping editor well-known to the Wiki Formula One project (and other motorsport projects) who also edits as 'Rowde'. He makes a habit of this sort of thing (amongst other "Wiki-sins'); creating both pages and drafts/userpages for topics which probably won't be accepted. Anyway, I was wondering about the best way to deal with this particular instance? Thanks for any suggestions. Regards, Eagleash (talk) 16:12, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not requesting a re-review, just want to ask an honest question for a better guideline for redoing the references etc...

It says to list verifiable information, and while I realize a lot of it is from the authors website directly, several references are from the authors pages from amazon, good reads etc. I am not sure what would be considered verifiable as the author has stated on his official facebook page several tikes that he generally does not do interviews for sites or give out much personal information. If I go to the poetry websites and link the book compilations of his poetry would that help? His personal information would rely solely on his website, unless I pulled his public record to verify things such as his being arrested and such.

Just looking for clarification, as to me personally, you cant get more verifiable than from the persons website itself. Though I did also link an outside website that did a profile on him from the United Kingdom.

Sorry this is so long! Just want to see if linking the compilation books would help, or if it is more his personal info that is the issue. Thanks guys!

Declined redirect request: Donald Trump moth → Neopalpa donaldtrumpi

Here's a few examples of Neopalpa donaldtrumpi, a newly named species of moth, being referred to as the Donald Trump moth:

It's looking likely that Donald Trump moth will become increasingly used as a synonym for Neopalpa donaldtrumpi as the moth becomes well known because of who it's named after and its very close resemblance to him. Undeclining the declined redirect request will be helpful to people who only know of Neopalpa donaldtrumpi as the Donald Trump moth, enabling instant navigation to the article for this important species of moth.

AFC/R declines

I've noticed a good number of outright bad declines at AFC/R. Examples:

All of these are at Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects/2017-01. Without very good reason, declining such candidates is disruptive. Would you mind explaining carefully your very good reasons for declaring all of these bad redirects? Nyttend (talk) 14:08, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

They need to provide sources or I'll do a normal Google search to see if it's plausible search term. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:29, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Let me be clear: you have been badly disrupting the AFC/R process (among other things, rejecting AFC/R requests for blatantly bad reasons is a good example of WP:BITE), and your response here makes it seem as if you don't understand or don't care. If I see additional disruption in this manner, you will be blocked. Nyttend (talk) 20:19, 27 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

You recently declined my article called 'Smartpay' because it does not adequately show the subject's notability, however I believe that I have provided significant evidence that show the subject's notability. All the sources I have used are from a notable third-party website and not Smartpay's own website and I have included them wherever necessary. Could you please explain how I could provide further evidence of the subject's notability as I thought I had already done so.

Thanks, Ben

Please explain to me how to cite the information that I received by in person interviews. My last paragraph has the link to the website and stated where the information was from.

There are thousands of businesses with wikipedia pages. I in no way marketed anything in my article. I simply provided basic information on the company and it's founders.

Examples of business wikipedia pages:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McDonald's

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_%26_Morgan_PA

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sears

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fred_Astaire_Dance_Studios

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walmart

If there is something wrong with my article, please give me a specific example instead of just saying wikipedia isn't for business listings. Because that isn't really true considered the thousands of businesses with wikipedia pages.

Those are notable businesses and yours is not yet until there's significant coverage in reliable sources. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 12:42, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

PRODs and AfD

I have transcluded Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sahar Ghoreishi in the lists Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Women and Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Iran. While WP:IRAN isn't terribly active, WP:WOMEN is, and in any case I think it is important that both WikiProjects are informed about the discussion, so we at least try to reduce gender- and geo-bias. AfD discussions that falls into CAT:AFD/B are almost always sorted into at least one geographical list apart from topical lists. WP:DELSORT/FLAT comes in handy.

Speaking from my own experience, tagging articles for deletion - except maybe for those cases that are very clearly eligible for deletion under one of our strict criteria for speedy deletion - without performing a search for sources is a bad habit. For some "good" examples, check out the blue-linked titles in this log file, and in the archives of that log file, and the red fields here. Yes, facepalm applies, that's for sure. The mantra I keep repeating to myself these days is "Do your WP:BEFORE, Sam, and consider WP:ATD before tagging for deletion", and I believe this credo at least has reduced my share of inept tags.

In this diff you tagged Kireeti Damaraju with citation style, unreliable sources, and lead missing, and two-and-a-half minutes later in this diff you proposed Sahar Ghoreishi be uncontroversially deleted, and gave the short rationale Fails NACTOR. If we are to believe the two articles prima facie, then Damaraju has four roles to his credit, none of them starring AFAICT, in the last four years, whereas Ghoreishi has 38 roles on her CV in the last 7–8 years. Twenty-nine of these productions are blue-linked in her article on Farsi Wikipedia. On English Wikipedia we have at least Guidance Patrol?! where the infobox lists her as starring. So, the BLP with the shortest career and the fewest credits of the two you slap maintenance templates on, and the BLP with ~twice as long a career and ~9 times as many roles you PRODNOM? Could you tell me where the logic is?

I get 90.000+ Ghits on Template:Boldmono and I get 500.000+ Ghits on Template:Boldmono. Numbers like these in my experience shout WP:NPOSSIBLE and tells me to look more carefully to see if I can find reliable sources with significant coverage. A more narrow search using the intitle: parametre reveals that there are currently 200+ Gnews hits on her Farsi name. In the title. A straight Gnews search returns 160.000+ hits. This is in my opinion not a PROD case. I am aware of WP:MUSTBESOURCES and WP:GHITS, which is why I have commented at AfD rather than casting a !vote, but I regard your deletion rationale as a WP:VAGUEWAVE argument. Assuming that your "PROD stands" and that you speak Farsi - I have no idea how anyone would think they reasonably could pass a judgement on a subject about which the majority of the sources are in a language they do not speak, although I have once heard the baffling argument made at an AfD discussion that a PROD nominator upheld his "delete" !vote and discounted French language sources because he did not read French - could you please return to AfD and help me understand why none of the sources are useful? Should you upon further consideration and vetting of the available sources have a change of heart and a wish to withdraw the nomination, the instructions found at WP:WDAFD may be followed. Regards, — Sam Sailor 18:45, 1 February 2017 (UTC) P.S. You have an unclosed <big> tag in your editnotice.[reply]

I naively speak english, but fair enough, I have done WP:BEFORE searches before nominating anything for deletion. Thanks for the advice. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 12:18, 2 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Review - newsletter No.2

Hello KGirlTrucker81,
A HUGE backlog

We now have 811 New Page Reviewers!
Most of us requested the user right at PERM, expressing a wish to be able to do something about the huge backlog, but the chart on the right does not demonstrate any changes to the pre-user-right levels of October.

Hitting 17,000 soon

The backlog is still steadily growing at a rate of 150 a day or 4,650 a month. Only 20 reviews a day by each reviewer over the next few days would bring the backlog down to a managable level and the daily input can then be processed by each reviewer doing only 2 or 3 reviews a day - that's about 5 minutes work!
It didn't work in time to relax for the Xmas/New Year holidays. Let's see if we can achieve our goal before Easter, otherwise by Thanksgiving it will be closer to 70,000.

Second set of eyes

Remember that we are the only guardians of quality of new articles, we alone have to ensure that pages are being correctly tagged by non-Reviewer patrollers and that new authors are not being bitten.

Abuse

This is even more important and extra vigilance is required considering Orangemoody, and

 1. this very recent case of paid advertising by a Reviewer resulting in a community ban.
 2. this case in January of paid advertising by a Reviewer, also resulting in a community ban.
 3. This Reviewer is indefinitely blocked for sockpuppetry.

Coordinator election

Kudpung is stepping down after 6 years as unofficial coordinator of New Page Patrolling/Reviewing. There is enough work for two people and two coords are now required. Details are at NPR Coordinators; nominate someone or nominate yourself. Date for the actual suffrage will be published later.

IP block exempt

I have granted your account an exemption from IP blocking. This will allow you to edit through full blocks affecting your IP address when you are logged in.

Please read the page Wikipedia:IP block exemption carefully, especially the section on IP block exemption conditions.

Note in particular that you are not permitted to use this userright to edit Wikipedia via anonymous proxies, or disruptively. If you do, or there is a concern of abuse, then the right may be removed by any administrator.

Appropriate usage and compliance with the policy may be checked (through the use of CheckUser) periodically, due to the nature of block exemption, and block exemption will be removed when no longer needed (for example, when the block it is related to expires).

I hope this will enhance your editing, and allow you to edit successfully and without disruption. Yamla (talk) 14:21, 9 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Trucker, Thanks for your help in making my page super-awesome. Not really requesting a re-review yet as I've only added six references so far, and the person I'm writing about has lots of theatre roles and stuff that I ought to add. Just wanna know which sort of references you prefer - which references are super trust-worthy or whatever. Should the references all just appear at the bottom of the page or do you want some halfway through the text? Another Wiki page that needs some reviewing (about a subject I work on) is the page on the Roman Aqueduct called the "Aqua Traiana" - perhaps you can help kill the nonsense in that page so it can be sorted out. I discovered part of that aqueduct [1] so I sort of feel it's my duty to improve the truly aweful Wiki page. Let me know, Ted O'Neill

Personally, I find it rather strange. Perhaps we could fix it? MPS1992 (talk) 22:02, 23 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Parra fiction

I have tagged Parra fiction with db-madeup. I don't know what was "slightly promotional" about it. — Sam Sailor 02:25, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

"Slightly promotional" means there's a litte peacocky language in the article. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 02:29, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Such as? — Sam Sailor 02:42, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Those words highlighted in red: "tells us" "God gave us" are examples of the pecocky language. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 03:09, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
No, "tells us" and "God Gave us" are not peacock terms. And in Parra fiction, the text string "God Gave us" is not even found. — Sam Sailor 03:20, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I still suspect it's promotional and it's written like The Bible. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 03:27, 26 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi KGirlTrucker81, I'm writing you about my rejected article on the card game Jewels. The reason for rejection was lack of reliable sources, so I was wondering if adding a section called "Reception and critics" would help? There I could write about the reviews the game has received, and add the sources.

I think the game deserve to be included here since it managed to successfully complete a kickstarter campaign, and to create a small player audience. The game can't be purchased new at the moment, so I'm not trying to promote it or anything like that (in fact I'm not associated or connected to them). I just think that's a small gem (no pun intended :D), and deserves to be remembered/listed among the notable card games since it received positive reviews and has a score of 7.1 on Board Game Geek out of 65 ratings.

If you have any tips on any other way to improve the article, please let me know.

Thanks, Zell01 (talk) 09:00, 2 March 2017 (UTC)Zell01Zell01 (talk) 09:00, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Mam, I had added the citation. Is it correct now? I was new to Wiki's that's why I missed to add citation. Thanks & Regards, Credox Talkies

Added Citations

Hey, thanks for helping me to improve the page: Craig McGuffie. I'm still very new to Wikipedia (only joined yesterday)! Since you left the notice about the article relying on only one citation, I've added many more sections and citations. Would it be ok to remove the notice now? Maesterial (talk) 21:55, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, you should removed the tag itself. KGirlTrucker81 huh? what I've been doing 15:35, 3 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please re-review page - all concerns taken care of

My colleague created a page with some mistakes - Draft:SAP_Web_IDE. Thanks for reviewing in the first place.[reply]
