The Heckler & Koch HK433 is a modular and compact assault rifle chambered for 5.56x45mm which combines the strengths and outstanding features of the G36 and the HK416 families of assault rifles – both proven worldwide. Designed and manufactured by Heckler & Koch. The barrel lengths will be from 11 “, 12.5”, 14.5 “, 16.5″, 18.9” up to 20″ and they are cold-hammered and hard chromed-lined with a 178 mm right-hand twist, six-groove barrels with hard chromium plating.[1][2] The precision is described as “far above average”.

It doesn’t matter at all whether you are right or left-handed or have trained on a G36 / HK416 weapon system or AR-15 platform: The HK433 is the solution for every scenario imaginable. Maximum functional reliability with intuitive handling combined with maximum modularity, accuracy and weapon safety.[3]

H&K is positioning the rifle as a candidate for the German Bundeswehr's competition to select a new assault rifle.[4] The H&K G36, the Bundeswehr's standard gun since 1997, is to be phased out and a replacement is planned to be phased in from 2020.
