Why would Tax Policy be considered a study of the best way to collect a tax for government revenue, rather than a means to both obtain revenue and manage the economy? DOR (HK) (talk) 07:45, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Tax policy isn't an -ology, after all. It is an approach towards an outcome. It's real life, not school. --Pat (talk) 01:19, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I removed the portions of this article dealing with the study of tax policy, including the list of prominent educators in the field. I would recommend that that text be recovered from the history of this article if someone wishes to include it here in a subsection or elsewhere. I just couldn't figure out a way to make the transition and include it here. I think the original editor may have had other plans for this article? Tax policy in education?? --Pat (talk) 01:32, 21 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
