Steve Bartelstein is a American television news reporter and anchor. He currently co-anchors WABC-TV's Eyewitness News This Morning and Eyewitness News at Noon alongside Lori Stokes. He came to WABC from CNN. He has previously worked in South Carolina (ironically, his backup at WCIV), Dean Stephens, is the current news anchor for WCIV's evening newscasts), Indiana, and Oregon.

His private life has been fodder for gossip columns, largely because he was the subject of a 2003 sexual harassment suit filed by Roderick McCollum, a fellow employee at WABC. [1]

Steve began his broadcasting career as a weekend anchor at age 19 in Evansville, Indiana.
