Dar Cyberpower, unfortunately I can not see how to write to the group of developers with 1 message so I am adressing you only. About [https://tools.wmflabs.org/xtools/pages/index.php?user=Grigorowitsch&lang=de&wiki=wikipedia&namespace=0&redirects=noredirects&limit=10000]: would it be possible to set a parameter for a chronical order vice versa (ascending, descending)? Best wishes for Easter! -- [[User:Grigorowitsch|Grigorowitsch]] ([[User talk:Grigorowitsch|talk]]) 21:41, 15 April 2017 (UTC) |

- Hello!! I am Cyberpower678. I am an administrator on Wikipedia. Despite that, I'm still your run of the mill user here on Wikipedia.
- I specialize in bot work and tools, but I lurk around RfPP, AfD, AIV, and AN/I, as well as RfA. If you have any questions in those areas, please feel free to ask. :-)
- For InternetArchiveBot matters specifically, please see meta:InternetArchiveBot/Problem for common issues or meta:User talk:InternetArchiveBot to leave a message
- I also serve as a mailing list moderator and account creator over at the Account Creation Center. If you have any questions regarding an account I created for you, or the process itself, feel free to email the WP:ACC team or me personally.
- At current I have helped to create accounts for 2512 different users and renamed 793 other users.
- Disputes or discussions that appear to have ended or is disputed will be archived.
All the best.—cyberpower

Internetarchivebot
I am posting this comment here because I don't have a bug reporting account. The internetarchivebot recently modified the article "gotcha (programming)", replacing the '+' characters in a external link URL address with '%20', which broke the link. Is it supposed to do that? Michael9422 (talk) 19:52, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- See also Phab T162722. Also, WaybackMedic fix #24 will fix them but no guarantee it can find them all. -- GreenC 22:02, 13 April 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks. I skimmed through the material at those links, but the situation is not clear to me. I reverted the change that the InternetArchiveBot made to the article "gotcha (programming)", which fixed the external link URL. That is all I intended to do aside from alert someone in charge that the bot seems to have a problem. I don't really understand what the purpose of the bots change from '+' to '%20' is supposed to accomplish, but perhaps the bot could be reprogrammed to recognize that two consecutive pluses '++' should not be modified. Michael9422 (talk) 01:00, 14 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have perhaps asked this before. But does the bot in question also detect dead links on its own and archive them? Or do it only archive articles with the dead link-tag already in it?--BabbaQ (talk) 14:11, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Yes it does.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 14:11, 15 April 2017 (UTC)

Talkpage revert
I'm not familiar with Anythingyouwant, but I believe you misread the comment of his that you reverted, and misunderstood its intention (a refutation of Coffee's own parting statements). Softlavender (talk) 11:24, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- It looks like grave dancing to me. Can you clarify?—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 11:25, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Oh I see it now. I didn't see the double negatives.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 11:26, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, Cyberpower, I came to say the same thing. Anythingyouwant's comment was kind of intricate, but very benign. I've reverted you — please compare my edit summary here. Bishonen | talk 11:29, 15 April 2017 (UTC).
- I saw thank you. I clearly need my morning coffee.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 11:30, 15 April 2017 (UTC)
