Terrorist attack on Tolo Television
A Taliban suicide car bomber targeted a minibus carrying journalists working for a private Afghan television channel on January 20, 2016, killing seven employees during evening rush hour close to the national parliament in Kabul, officials said. The Kabol Police Chief said, "Taliban bomber targeted a car owned Afghanistan's first 24 hour news channel". [1] The attack was based on allegations brought to Tolo Television Network about executions, kidnapping, and rape during the battle Kunduz. During the attack at 25 or more people were wounded that number included children and women. The explosion was big enough to be heard miles away.
