Japanese Woodworking Chisels reads like an advert, and adds little if anything to the discussion of chisels. Also, Lathe Tools should not be a subheading. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.11.4.28 (talk) 01:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC) |

I came across a slight problem. This page is redirected to "Meißel". Which is a minor part in the article. The English has one word only for German: "Meißel" and "Beitel". The latter being used for woodwork only. Atm the German wiki does not reflect the English version for "Beitel". And I have even thought about the idea for having a joint article and realized a that for the German language that would not be possible. Both idioms are just used even to differ the specific usage. Any ideas? Oldnag85 (talk) 19:55, 17 April 2017 (UTC) |

V-shaped chisels
You guys should not forget about the V-shaped chisels (German name: Geißfuß, "she-goat's foot") used in linocut, for example. -andy 78.51.73.91 (talk) 14:50, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
