Parwaaz Hay Junoon (Template:Lang-ur lit: Soaring is Passion) is an upcoming Pakistani war drama romance comedy film, directed by Haseeb Hassan, produced by Momina Duraid and written by Farhat Ishtiaq. It will star Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Aamir, Kubra Khan, Marina Khan, Shamoon Abbasi Adnan Jaffer Shafaat Ali Mustafa ChangeziShaz Khan Sikandar-Vincent Khan Yousafzai Sabeena Syed in leading & support roles. Earlier, Osman Khalid Butt was also a part of the film but had to withdraw as the film's shoot schedule clashed with his promotions for Balu Mahi.[1] [2]

Parwaaz Hay Junoon will be a tribute to Pakistan Air Force.[3] It is scheduled to release on September 2, 2017, on Eid al-Adha under Momina & Duraid Films and will be distributed by Hum Films.[4]

Production

According to director of media affairs PAF Syed Mohammad Ali and Momina Duraid, Parwaaz Hay Junoon is intended to be a tribune to Pakistan Air Force with stories inspired from real life.[5][6] Duraid also announced that all of the major earnings of film will be donated to PAF funds.[7] The casting of Hamza Ali Abbasi and Osman Khalid Butt was announced at the launch event of film, with real life members of Pakisan air force comprising the rest of the cast.[6][7][8]Farhat Ishtiaq will be writing the film's script.[5] The final cast includes Hamza Ali Abbasi, Ahad Raza Mir, Hania Aamir, Shaz Khan, Marina Khan and Shamoon Abbasi.[9]
