The fourth season of the action comedy science fiction machinima web series Red vs. Blue premiered on August 29, 2005 and concluded on April 1, 2006. The series is created and produced by Rooster Teeth Productions and loosely based in the Halo universe. The season uses Halo 2 and was directed by Burnie Burns and Matt Hullum. In a first for the series, this season features 20 episodes, as opposed to the standard 19 for the first three seasons. A DVD of the season was released on May 4, 2006 and arrived in GameStop stores on May 9, 2006.
