Rahul Kumar is an Indian football player who plays as a Defender for I-League team Salgaocar.[1] Kumar was one of the original players of Pune F.C. in 2007.
Kumar played the school nationals in Kolkata in 2001, and in Chandigarh in 2002. He also played the U-21 nationals and later went on to play for the Punjab senior team in 2005.
Self proclaimed legend Rahul Kumar goes by the name of 'Maple leaf'. He is the club's most popular player having netted many amazing goals in. His moto is 'check yourself before u wreck yourself'. Kumar is planning to retire soon and become an adult sensation in India's own 'fake taxi' called Kumar's kruises.
