Hi {{ping|Nerd1a4i}} I wanted to inform you that I have edited the research section in [[Peter Jalowiczor]]. I discuss my rationale on the article's talk page. Given my vote to redirect the article, I have also posted a disclaimer on the AfD discussion page announcing the fact that I made significant edits to the article. In my judgment, these edits retained the critical information about his research and organized them more logically, but I would be pleased to discuss them with you if you disagree. In List of Norwegian television series, I would recommend keeping the shows listed under their original Norwegian titles, because few of them are known internationally under translated titles. If the shows do have established titles translated into English, those titles can be listed in the "Notes" column. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 20:06, 1 January 2017 (UTC)
Stub tags
Hallo Heather, Please note that {{stub}} goes at the end, not the top, of an article, per WP:ORDER. And if you'd looked at the end of Barrow v The Master you'd have seen that it already has a specific stub tag, so does not need the general one to be added. Thanks. PamD 08:42, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- And {{stub}} doesn't take any parameters, so your "issues" was misplaced. PamD 08:43, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- Hallo again - same editor new name, a small surprise. Another issue about stub tags: please take care not to add {{stub}} to an article like Giorgino which already has a specific stub tag. It puts it back into the category of stubs awaiting stub-sorting, and wastes other editors' time. Thanks. PamD 08:57, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Hasty CSD tagging
Hello Nerd1a4i. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at 2016–17 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.Template:Z149
The article referred to above is 2016–17 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball season, which you tagged 2 minutes post its creation. The author added the page content later. 103.6.159.69 (talk) 17:49, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
A note about CSD A7
@Nerd1a4i: While patrolling new pages, I came across Undivided Friends, an article you tagged for speedy deletion as CSD A7. I just wanted to let you know that I removed your tag and replaced it with a proposed deletion tag. According to the criteria for speedy deletion, [t]his criterion applies only to articles about web content and to articles about people, organizations, and individual animals themselves, not to articles about their books, albums (these may be covered by CSD A9), software, or other creative works.
Because this particular topic is about an upcoming short film, I do not feel CSD A7 would be applicable. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great day! MJ94 (talk) 19:21, 7 January 2017 (UTC)
Another note about CSD A7
I came across Alberto Pizzarello which you tagged for A7 speedy deletion; I have removed your tag. Significance is clearly asserted in the short article, so A7 does not apply. A very quick Google search reveals that Pizzarello is indeed a fairly well-known poet as indicated by the article. It is also inappropriate to request deletion of brand new articles only two minutes after they are created, we call this biting the newcomers and it's undesirable as it drives new editors away from the project. I see this is going to be the third warning you've received today regarding speedy deletion tagging; if you are not sure of what you're doing please slow down and consider asking questions at Wikipedia talk:New pages patrol. Thanks. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 04:20, 8 January 2017 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Reginald Sanders
Hello Nerd1a4i, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Reginald Sanders, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article claims coverage in reliable sources. Reply to edit on Article Yucatec Maya language
Hi! This is in reply to your undoing of a recent edit I made to Yucatec Maya language. The edit I made involved removing the reference to "British Anglo-Saxon". I did this as the term as it appears in the article is not technical. The term does not appear in the source cited and seems to have been originally introduced by the author to clarify the statement made in the initial clause of the sentence. However, the term "British Anglo-Saxon" has no linguistic meaning as "British" refers to a group of languages belonging to the Celtic language family and "Anglo-Saxon" refers to a specific Germanic language (an ancestor to our modern English). Combining the two produces a non-sense term which cannot be used in the manner the author seems to want to use it. My suggestion is that the final clause in this sentence be removed avoid any confusion or misinformation introduced by the presence of the phrase "British Anglo-Saxon". 209.6.204.215 (talk) 03:14, 9 April 2017 (UTC)

@Nerd1a4i:
Hi!
I saw that you edited the article 'vOICe' but did not post any comment.
After you, NewYorkActuary declined the submission. I am irritated by the entire submission ordeal.
Please restore the article to its previous version to the form it was in when I edited last.
I will not further submit the article for review, but keep it as my notes.
I don't possess the expertise to restore my article to its earlier version.

Disambiguation link notification for April 16
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited CD Choice Music, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Puja and Farabee (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
